Guinness World Record-Breaking Charity Event by C.C.C. Kei Wan Primary School (Aldrich Bay)

On 18th January 2020, LEAP was honoured to be the benefiting charity of a Guinness World Record breaking event organized by C.C.C. Kei Wan Primary School (Aldrich Bay) in celebration of the School's 50th anniversary.

In line with the theme of the "My Pledge to Act" campaign of the Education Bureau for the 2019/20 school year, "Expressing gratitude, to cherish, be proactive and optimistic" was adopted as the event's theme. The event was a huge success. Close to 500 students, parents, teachers, staff from the School and invited guests put on a pair of hand-made dinosaur footwear and successfully broke the Guinness World Record on a warm, sunny day.

The event raised over HK$12,000 for LEAP, allowing LEAP to deliver its positive health and drug prevention messages to more students and parents for a drug-free future.

LEAP woud like to thank Kei Wan Primary School (Aldrich Bay) sincerely for organizing this innovative and inspiring charity event in working with LEAP to build a healthy, drug-free future for our next generation.
