LEAP is a registered charity that provides health awareness and drug prevention programmes to over 100,000 primary and secondary school children every year. As a non-profit organization, we rely very much on the generous support of the community.

 

Leaving a legacy to LEAP will help us in our aim of helping young people to establish a healthy lifestyle and become aware of the dangers of drugs.

 

A legacy can take many forms:

 (i)   Give all or part of the balance of a will

 (ii)  Give all or part of a life insurance policy

Policy giving is a simple concept and one that requires little effort to extend your love and care to the next generations. Policyholders can consider donating a certain % (e.g.: 90% family member 10% beneficial charity) of the sum insured for charity purpose.

LifeCare Movement – “Policy Donation Programme (PDP)”

“The Life Underwriters Association of Hong Kong (LUA)” and “LUA Foundation” jointly support the LifeCare Movement, which aims at encouraging the public donating a certain percentage of the sum insured for charity purpose. It is expected that it will become a sustainable source of funding to charity organization in long-term.

 

Step 1:     Fill in the “Request for Change” Form. Contact your insurance agent for the “Request for Change” Form. Submit the required information to the insurance company.

Step 2:    Approval by insurance company

Step 3:    Fill in the Notification Form and return to “LUA” and beneficiary organization
