Official launch of two new mobile classrooms

Life Education Activity Programme (LEAP) is delighted to announce on 28 April 2017 the commissioning of its two new mobile classrooms.  Officiating guests of the ceremony are Manda Chan Wing Man, Commissioner for Narcotics, Leong Cheung, Executive Director, Charities and Community, The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Shum Siu Fong, Chairman, Hong Kong Special Schools Council and James Tong, LEAP’s Chairman.

In addition to providing students with a safe and hygienic learning environment, the two new replacement mobile classrooms, for LEAP’s Special Needs and Chinese programme respectively, are also equipped with cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) and Kinect teaching technologies which were first introduced in 2014.  LEAP’s entire fleet is now fully equipped with the latest teaching technologies to provide an exceptional learning experience combining technology, fun and knowledge for students, including those with special needs.  Its aim is to enhance students’ learning interest and to strengthen their understanding of the subject matter.

We are deeply grateful to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for funding the two new mobile classrooms.  The funding had also allowed LEAP to extend its latest teaching technologies to all its existing mobile classrooms as well as its in-class programmes.
