"Spare a Lai-See” Campaign
“Spare a Lai-See” Campaign
Let’s come together and carry multiple blessings this Lunar New Year – donate your lai-see and make a meaningful impact!
The Lunar New Year is a time when both children and adults look forward to receiving red packets filled with joy and blessings. The act of giving lai-see symbolises sharing blessings with others. Have you ever thought about enhancing the power and impact of these blessings? By donating just one packet of lai-see money, you can help LEAP expand its health-based preventive education programmes, which aim to address the increasing physical, mental, and emotional health challenges faced by young people today.
At LEAP, we are committed to putting children at the heart of everything we do. We have launched our new “Social and Emotional Learning” programme and a series of “Health & Wellness” activities. These initiatives aim to help students develop interpersonal skills, enhance emotional management, cultivate positive values, and build resilience, all vital for preventing self-harm behaviors.
Your participation in the “Spare a Lai-see” Campaign will directly support these new initiatives. Join us and share your blessings to help students live a healthy and positive life.
To thank donors who give HK$100 or above, we are offering a pack of 10 limited-edition Harold’s red packets, while stocks last.

Schools Participation
“Spare a Lai-See” Campaign has been cherished and supported by schools since its inception in 1998. Every year, LEAP’s health and wellness coach, Harold the Giraffe, visits various schools to interact with students. This year he will share insights on how red packet donations can be used to teach valuable financial literacy skills too!
Last year, a total of 25 schools participated, raising over HK$200,000 for LEAP. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the students, parents, and teachers from the participating schools, and we especially congratulate the following
